In our opening concert on 27th September, we welcome back the Carducci Quartet, who (with Nicola Eimer and Daniel Storer) featured in our first concert of 2007 - the "Trout" concert.

In this excerpt, they play part of the fourth movement of Haydn's string quartet Opus 76 no. 2 ("Fifths"). In the concert, we hear one of Haydn's earlier works, his quartet Op. 20 no. 4.

On 17th October Jill Morton, who gave the launch recital of our Bosendorfer piano, returns for a solo concert.

On 13th November we hear 2 of the major works in the clarinet quintet repertoire - the Brahms and Weber quintets - played by David Campbell with the Sacconi string quartet. The quartet also play a string quartet commissioned by them from John Metcalf, the foremost Welsh composer.

The Katona Twins make their third visit to us on 5th December. We are privileged to hear "the classical world's best known guitar duo" (The Daily Telegraph) at their best. This is a YouTube video of a Piazzolla Tango they'll be playing. It's fantastic!

ICMS have been granted a concert by the winners of the Tunnell Trust competition 2006 by Lancier Brass whom we shall be delighted to welcome on 11th January 2008

On 20th February, we will welcome back the Kungsbacka Piano Trio, whose talents have been so well appreciated here.

The prize-winning Scottish piano quartet Ensemble na Mara make their Inverness debut on 5th March.

On 27th March, we will be offering a piano recital to Anne Macgregor, the winner of the 2007 Moray Piano Competition.

The percussion pair - O Duo - give our final concert on 9th April, which promises to bring down the curtain in style!
